Posted October 11, 2017 08:15:53It’s the first major CES event in the US in years, but there’s plenty to look forward to at the upcoming trade show.
Here’s everything you need to know.
The first day of the trade show has been set aside for the next day of events, which means that you’ll need to get out of the house for the most important moments of the year: the official unveiling of the Intel Skylake CPUs at 1:00pm ET (1:30pm GMT) on Friday, October 13, and the Intel’s first official product unveiling.
The event is also expected to be the first opportunity to get a taste of the next generation of Intel CPUs, which are expected to ship in Q1 of 2018.
As you might expect, the event is expected to have the biggest show floor, with panels showcasing all of Intel’s new CPUs, graphics, and other hardware.
We’re looking forward to seeing some of the first images from the processors at this year’s event, including the first chips from Intel’s latest Core-series line-up.
We’ve already had a look at Intel’s upcoming Core-X series of processors, which include the Core-Y, Core-Z, and Core-XX CPUs, and will be showcasing the first Skylake-based CPUs from Skylake.
We’ve also got the full lineup of presentations from the company’s press conference on Thursday, October 10, including a press briefing, a Q&A session, a live demo of Intel Labs’ Next-Gen Graphics Platform (NGMP) platform, and a video game presentation.
