Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has been charged with allegedly defrauding his former employer, a business organization in the United States.
Milanovic, a former prime minister, has denied wrongdoing and says he has not received any money from the group.
He has been in the U.S. for a week on $25 million bail.
Milanov, who is under investigation by U.C.L.A., has denied any wrongdoing.

Milanović’s lawyer said on Friday that the Croatian president was in New York at the time of the alleged fraud.
Milanovo was a former premier and leader of Croatia’s nationalist ruling party from 2002 to 2015.
