Chipotle is getting ready to open its first in the US, a new fast-food restaurant that will serve up chicken wings and tacos, with the help of a partnership with the fast-growing, $10-billion company that makes the chips.
Chipotle’s first restaurant will be a small joint in Phoenix, Arizona, the company announced Wednesday.
Chipotles chicken wings are made from ground chicken that’s been ground to a fine powder, and then fried.
The company will offer tacos, which will be served with a tortilla.
The chicken wings will be available at all locations across the US and Canada, with delivery in the Phoenix area and a few restaurants in other states, according to Chipotle.
The new restaurant will also be able to serve Mexican food.

Chipotle said the new restaurant is “in the works for a year,” but it is not clear when it will open.
“We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Chipotle, a company that brings a wealth of culinary expertise, and we’re ready to launch in 2017,” Chipotle CEO Steve Ells said in a statement.
Last year, Chipotle acquired a number of smaller restaurants in Arizona, including a franchisee in Phoenix and an independent business in Tucson.
The Phoenix restaurant will open in the second quarter of next year, and will serve food that’s more focused on its signature taco menu.
At this point, the Chipotle deal is not a major challenger to fast food chains like McDonalds and Burger King.
However, Chipotles partnership with Chipotels parent company could be a significant boost for a business that has struggled with growth.
Although Chipotle has long been one of the biggest chicken wing makers in the world, it has struggled to compete with chains like Chipotle Mexican Grill and Panera Bread.
In March, Chipos owner Chipotle announced plans to build a new restaurant in Tucson, which it said would serve up a “more diverse and creative” menu.
